We are so fortunate to have amazing, dedicated teachers at Briarwood! We are excited to announce this year's Outstanding Teacher Award recipients, Monique Cabellon and Corinne Mason!

 
Monique Cabellon is the Math Lab teacher. The Math Lab at school is a place to learn about, play with and love mathematics! She does an amazing job helping the students believe in themselves and pushes them all to think and learn in new ways. She dedicates her time beyond the workday to math practices that enhance our teacher's instruction and student learning.
 
Corinne Mason is a teacher in the science- tech program. She goes above and beyond to understand children's needs, is always patient to answer their curious questions, sets fun games and challenges even as she teaches Science Tech curriculum which is full of experimentation and learning from doing.
 

We want to extend a big CONGRATULATIONS to PTA volunteer and board member, Tor Rentfro on being this year's Golden Acorn Award Recipient! Tori has a big heart for our school. She has assisted and lead the PTA sponsored art program and is always willing to help where the PTA needs it to give to our Briarwood community. Thank you, Tori, for sharing your time and talents to help the PTA, students and families at Briarwood!
