Does your child love to draw, paint, write stories, take photographs, dance, or make music? The PTA Reflections program is a wonderful opportunity for students to explore their creativity and share their talents through the arts!

Reflections is a National PTA arts recognition program that encourages students to create original works inspired by an annual theme.

This year’s theme is “What My CULTURE Means to Me,” inviting students to explore and express what culture means to them through their own artistic interpretations.

Students can participate in six arts categories:

Dance Choreography

Film Production

Literature

Music Composition

Photography

Visual Arts

An Accessible Arts division is also available for eligible students with disabilities.

Reflections is open to students of all skill levels. Whether your child is an experienced artist or simply enjoys trying something new, we encourage them to participate. The focus is on creativity, self-expression, and sharing each student’s unique perspective.

Ready to participate?

Please review the program guidelines and submission requirements, and encourage your child to start thinking about how they would like to express this year’s theme.

Submission deadline: November 13
How to submit: Please email submissions to briarwoodreflections@gmail.com.

There will be a submissions box for physical art located in the office!

We look forward to seeing the creativity and imagination of our students come to life!
