  Fall Book December 4 - 8, 2023 Volunteers Needed to Make This Event A Success!    Briarwood's Fall Book Fair starts Monday, December 4th in Rm. 165 at Briarwood Elementary. Students will have the opportunity to browse, shop and make wish lists during the school day at their designated library time.  Have your student bring cash or consider setting up an eWallet . Reading is Magic Read-a-Thon
   The PTA is excited to announce this year’s Read-A-Thon fundraiser theme… READING IS MAGIC! Not only will students benefit from the magic of reading, but we will also celebrate the conclusion of our Read-A-Thon with a visit from our favorite magician and an all-new performance!  All students that participate will receive participation prizes and be entered into a drawing for many unique experiences such as Principal for the Day, Librarian for the Day, PE teacher for the Day, and Music teacher for the day!  Classrooms will earn a class reward for meeting reading and/or fundraising goals. Reflections® is a National PTA and Washington State PTA arts recognition program for students in grades pre-K through 12. Submit artwork (with a completed entry form- see link below, and labeled with artists name) to the labeled bin in the Briarwood Office between October 2 nd and October 27 th !  Please contact Merrilee at merilee.peha@gmail.com if you would like to participate but don’t have the supplies to do so.
